Biography
After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Pennsylvania and working in the music business for more than a decade, including in college marketing for Sony Music, independent retail marketing for V2 Records, buying for Virgin Megastores, and royalty accounting at Universal Music Group, Dan Jensen obtained a Paralegal Certificate from UCLA Extension and joined KHPS in 2005.
Since then, Mr. Jensen has become intimate with just about every kind of written agreement the music business has to offer, from simple synchronization licenses, sample clearances, and collaborator agreements to complex blanket licenses, partnership agreements, and asset purchase agreements. He is also an obsessive music fan, careful to keep up with new music in most genres.
