Dealmakers: King Holmes, Horgan Rosen Handle Bank Deal

King, Holmes, Paterno & Berliner, LLP advised Porterville-based Sierra Bancorp in its $15.3 million acquisition of Santa Clara Valley Bank NA, a deal announced July 17 and completed Nov. 14.
Sierra, which is the holding company for Bank of the Sierra, operates 28 branch offices throughout California and has approximately $1.6 billion in assets.
Century City-based partner Keith T. Holmes led King Holmes’ team with support from associates Madge S. Beletsky.
A team from the Calabasas office of Horgan, Rosen, Beckham & Coren LLP counseled Santa Clara Valley Bank. Partners Arthur A. Coren and Khoi D. Dang and associates Justin A. Santarosa and Steve J. Sweeney handled the transaction.
Santa Clara Valley Bank has $129 million in assets and branches in Santa Paula, Santa Clarita and Fillmore.
