Susan Hilderley is a partner in the firm's entertainment transactions department, focusing on the music industry. Her practice includes representing superstar artists with extensive catalogs, Grammy-winning producer/songwriters, up and coming pop artists, and entrepreneurs in the music space.

Ms. Hilderley joined the firm after a long and eventful career as a record company business affairs executive, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Business and Legal Affairs at Interscope Geffen A&M Records, a division of the Universal Music Group. Her business affairs background gives her a deep understanding of both the legal and business issues in the challenging and ever-changing music industry. She has experience structuring and negotiating a wide variety of deals, including complex joint venture agreements, acquisitions, 360 deals, management agreements, and competitive new artist signings.

Ms. Hilderley is also an instructor at the UCLA School of Law, where she teaches the new Music Industry Clinic that she helped develop.
