Jacqueline Sabec is a partner of King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano and manages the firm's San Francisco office.  Ms. Sabec is a creative attorney with four decades of experience advocating for artists' rights.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Sabec studied as a classically trained musician and learned the entertainment and event business working for Bill Graham Presents and Bill Graham Management while in law school. Her work includes general counsel and business affairs positions for the Jerry Garcia Estate LLC, Grateful Dead Productions, and Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation. Her clients have appeared on more than 400 million records.

Ms. Sabec's practice includes all aspects of the entertainment business with an emphasis on intellectual property transactions and financing, legacy and estate planning, corporate formation,  representing hit songwriters and producers, event and festival production agreements, touring, technology, employment and labor issues, and representing entertainment executives. Ms. Sabec is an expert at structuring and negotiating complex catalog agreements, brand licensing agreements, purchase and acquisition agreements, and all forms of sophisticated entertainment contracts. She uses her expertise in nonprofit law to help artists and entities further their missions and to protect the icons, images, and entities of social change; she worked closely with Burning Man's legal architect on its transition to nonprofit status.

Ms. Sabec speaks at conferences, events, and universities regarding the latest trends and challenges in the entertainment business, immersive experiences, and ethics.
