Judge Denies Fees for Gaye lawyers in ‘Blurred Lines’ Copyright Case

A judge rejected a $3.5 million attorney’s fee request from the heirs of Martin [sic] Gaye in their lawsuit over Robin Thicke’s song Blurred Lines," finding their success did not advance the federal 1976 Copyright Act sufficiently to warrant an award.
