Managing Partner Howard King has been recognized by the Daily Journal as one of the entertainment industry's leading lawyers in California. The Daily Journal's inaugural list, "California's Top 50 Entertainment Lawyers," was published on November 5, 2014, and identifies the "key dealmakers and litigators who are rapidly reshaping the movie, music and game businesses."

In its profile of King, the Daily Journal reports on his defense of M.I.A., accused by the NFL of damaging their reputation for "wholesome entertainment" during her recent Super Bowl halftime performance.

The profile also reports on King's defense of Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams in their high profile battle over claims their smash hit "Blurred Lines" infringed a composition of Marvin Gaye.
